I don't know what it is about this time of year but when March arrives, I always feel the need to see, own & wear as many pastel things as possible. I'm a sucker for anything from a peach purse to lilac candles. My dream is to later have a kitchen full of mint green accents. I recently purchased the cutest mint retro kitchen scales and it's ridiculous how excited that made me. Maybe I'll be able to show them off in a future recipe post. It's been a while since I've been baking but since I finished writing my thesis I should have some more spare time for such things now. I'm also going on a school trip to Edinburgh in a few weeks, which I'm hoping to share some bits of with you guys.

I can't believe Saturday is already the first day of spring!
